Love this messenger bag for my little man. He is seen here in the large. He is 6 lb and 10 inches tall from the ground to the top of his back. I originally ordered the small but I didn't think the sides came up high enough for him. Customer service was amazing and I was able to exchange the small for the large in a very timely manner. Vivian was very prompt in responding and getting everything in order for me. Cosmo feels very comfortable and secure in his new bag!

Love it…so comfortable

Most comfortable one I tried, and believe me I tried lots of them! I call my little fur baby my little kanga(roo) when she's in there! She loves it and it's so easy to use and get around with it. I would highly recommend this to everyone!

I wish the strap could be adjusted even shorter but otherwise it’s more structured than other sling-style carriers I have seen

I finally found a carrier that is comfortable and durable which makes long hikes more fun with my senior dog! It's easy to slide my pooch in, has a safety belt and additional clip I use to attach to her harness. I love the wide shoulder strap and the carrier hangs off to the side nicely won't interfere with my fast pace. My pooch is 12lbs so I purchased the large size and there's plenty room if she chose to lay down. I just wish there was a small pocket on the strap I could slide my phone in or my keys. Great job Wagwear for making such an excellent product!

Great bag. Super high quality. Good materials and build. Our 17 year old dog took to it immediately and is very comfortable in it.
One critique: my wife is 5’2’’ and petit, and the bag is still a little big on her at it’s smallest setting. Strap is also thick on a small shoulder.
Overall we’re very happy and love it.

Extremely well made, top quality. My dog is very comfortable in it (it’s quilted inside) and feels safe. It’s also chic and I get a lot of compliments on it. Only wish there were a small leash pocket on it but otherwise it’s perfect.

Love my wagwear messenger bag. Holds my 11 lb Pom/schipperke perfectly without hurting my back!
So grateful I found this!

Extra good carrier bag
I actually found my wagwear bag in my building hallways ‘donations’ box. I figured it might come in handy for my 10lb Maltese with bad knees. We have had so many carriers and purses and tote bag situations over the years, so she’s used to being in bags. I have to say I’m about to buy my second bag because this bag is really great. The quality is stellar, Ella is so comfortable half the time she sleeps, and its actually comfortable to wear-not back breaking or shoulder breaking like some other bags. It’s also not cheap ugly shiny polyester like most shoulder bags. Might seem a little pricey but I’ve washed and dried mine a bunch of times and it’s basically still how I found it-in perfect condition. I’m getting another one in a different color-I hope they make these bags forever.

Excellent carrying bag for a small dog
I have used this style bag from Wagwear for 12 years to carry my 12 pound dachshund service dog in New York City.
I also used the same bag to train my second service dog and also carry him consistently.
I recommend training a small dog as a puppy to become completely comfortable inside the bag during transport. I like the closeness of holding the dog inside my coat during cold weather.
I am able to enter restaurants and hospitals with my registered service dog with less concern from staff as my dog is completely contained and controlled. My 2 dachshund service dogs are trained to be like kangaroos inside this bag and this makes all travel including air flight quite easy.
For a puppy weighing 3-5 pounds it is an excellent method for attachment puppy care. My second dog is now 2 years old, also trained for service purposes, and he was never separated from my person when he was under 6 months of age, for his safety and house training. I could shift the bag behind me while I did kitchen tasks for example.
This bag might be a challenge for an older dog who is not accustomed to constant holding while in transport. Over the years, I have replaced the bag about 5 times as basic wear and tear occurs when used daily. I also wash the bag and air dry.
People comment all the time how my dog is so content and we are one unit. This bag is something that has become an invaluable tool for me in both training and daily life with a registered service dog.
