I ordered 2 of these as a house shoe for my dog with IVDD. He currently drags back foot and this boot was intended to be summer protection. ( he has another type of boot that I had planned to alternate between) Unfortunately, within the first 10 minutes of wear, he chewed a huge hole in the toe. I am sad to say they don’t work for him. They are very cute, but my dog is very opinionated.
WagWellie® Mojave Single Boot – Need two sizes? WagWellie® Mojave Single Boot, specifically sold for those unique paw sizes and needs. Each purchase includes one boot to allow for a customized fit for each of your pup's paws, ensuring comfort and protection.
Please note: This product is sold as a single boot, not a pair. Ideal for solving those tricky sizing dilemmas or replacing a single worn boot.
*Most size differences between the front and back paws do not require a different size boots. We advise that you order the full set of larger size and if they are just too big for the smaller paws you can exchange for singles.
Please use our Find My Dog's Size tool on product pages to determine accurate sizing.

Getting a dog used to wearing boots is a process. It is very normal to see an amusing high-step in the beginning. This is because they can’t feel the floor and it throws off their coordination, they need time to re-coordinate themselves. It may even take getting them outside and on with the walk before they start to realize that they can in fact walk & run as usual.

Levi is a Bahamian Village dog that had a rough start on the streets of Nassau, and has ongoing special needs with his front right paw from rickets. It’s pretty stable now but the tendency to curl is still there and he puts too much weight on the outside that leads to pad wounds if not protected. The Mojave is perfect for The Florida Keys!

My pup tore her paw pad. She only needed one boot and she didn’t mind it. It stayed on nicely and it was breathable for hot summer wear.

Love them! They’ve been such a great purchase and give me so much peace of mind. I got them for my retired hunting dog, who’s now happily living the indoor life. Adjusting to hardwood floors was a big change for her, but these made it so much easier for her to get around. They’re also wonderful for protecting her paws from hot decks and pavement during the summer. She does seem to be pretty tough on them, so they wear out a bit faster than I expected, but honestly, it’s worth it knowing she’s comfortable and protected.

They fit perfect and my dog loves them she can wear them in the pool as well. Also I like you can order individual ones. My dog is disabled and drags her back feet so she needs to wear socks all the time and these are perfect for summer to protect her feet yet breathable.

Absolutely love our shoes! We’ve tried so many different brands and these are the only ones that work for us! We love them so much and we will definitely be getting a pink pair this year!💖💖💖

I like putting the shoes on so her paws don’t get dirty from dirt or her own pee when she pees on a hill daily. LOL It would be great if they also sold in sets of 2 for a discount or if on the 4 set, you can get 2 different color and 2 different paw sizes. I don’t think most dogs have the same paw sizes.

Our rescue foster girl Raven took to her wagwellies so quickly! We are thrilled with how well they fit and protect her feet. Our Texas summers are know to be brutal so foot wear is essential and wagwellies are the best!

Hi Wagwear, thank you so much for your shoes. I bought them to help my 13 year old best friend, Barney. He was slipping quite a bit and having a hard time standing up and walking due to his back paws being so sensitive and not having any traction on his paw pads. Your shoes have been a game changer for him. He even lifts his back legs up each morning so that I can put his shoes on for the day. Added bonus: he gets tons of compliments on his stylish shoes! : )

Love these booties! My Aussie does scent/nose work and during vehicle searches, sometimes goes up with paws on the car. I got the booties for her front feet to eliminate the possibility of damage to the vehicle surface. She adapted to them quickly and they’re very easy for me to put on and take off. Thank you!

My Pom Symba has great difficulty walking on smooth surfaces. His wag wear shoes have made a HUGE difference in his mobility and confidence walking. It’s rolled the clock back. I get asked all the time about my doggies “crocs”…. I correct them and tell them about wag wear and how they have helped my sweet boy. I know of at least 3 that have purchased them for their own fur babies!

I bought an extra pair because they work so well. My dog suffers from degenerative myelopathy and these shoes not only protect him from scuffing his back feet but also help with the foot knuckling that occurs with the disease by helping keep his foot in position. I need to keep him as active as possible to keep his strength up and these shoes are a lifesaver.

We love wagwear shoes for when our pups are working. They stay on well. I love the bright colors! Easier for me to see. I do wish the pink was a hot pink color as it seems more bubblegum pink. Our dogs play rough, so they do not stay on when playing outside.

My dog wears Wagwellies Mojave booties for traction on slippery floors while doing nosework. They also protect his feet on hot asphalt in the summer, which gives me peace of mind. I love the colors and how well well the booties stay on.

Great experience. I had to cut the back boots as it was hurting the carpal pad of his front paws

My pup had stitches in her paw and after trying several different boots and socks the wag willi was the best discovery. Easy to put on and it stayed on. I put a small sock over her paw then the wag willi. What a great find.

Dee loves her little Wellie! She has a peg leg and drags her little foot, so we needed something to protect her toes from knuckling during walks!

The wagwear WagWellie Mojave single boots were a great option to keep my dog’s hind paws protected from scraping or dragging on the pavement when he uses his wheelchair. He likes to keep his hind legs down and the first time he wore the boots he was able to go faster and longer on his walk. The sizing was perfect using the guide and they are easy to put on.

My big, sweet boy (Gronk) is nearing his 9th birthday and experiencing arthritis in his back legs. Occasionally dragging his right foot was causing terrible abrasion on his toes that never got to heal. With his new boot, he’s having better traction and best of all his sores have healed! Thank you for such a great fitting, durable boot! I’m shopping for a winter version now! ;)

My dog recently broke the tips of all his already short nails playing ball on cement. He was bleeding from every one. I ordered these to protect his paws from rough or hot surfaces. This is him ten minutes after wearing them for the first time. His front paws are bigger than the back so the option to buy singles is great.

Our dog Lottie suffered an FCE/spinal stroke last year, and although she’s recovered about 85-90%, she still shuffles her affected leg just a bit. It’s just enough to scuff up her paw pad and break her nails on our walks. We’ve tried countless shoes to protect her paw (like literally hundreds of dollars’ worth over the last 1.5 years 😂🥲): moccasins, PAWZ balloons (both alone and also with a sock underneath), silicone-lined boots. But because she shuffles juuuust enough, her nails inevitably poke through them all, and/or they wear down way too quickly. But I think we FINALLY found the solution with wagwellies! Not only are they an absolute perfect fit, they’re SO well-made and super easy to put on and take off. She’ll wear through these eventually too, but so far they’re holding up and she doesn’t mind them at all. She always gets compliments, too! 🥰 We’re already planning to buy one of the original solid boots for winter. Thank you, wagwear!
